  1. Le roi Felipe n'est pas à son avantage en smoking sur la 1ère photo.

  2. Such a stark difference from another striped number we saw the other day. Keeping the hair simple and minimizing distractions really makes this look work. It is not my favorite but in the low lighting on the stage, I like it.

  4. I love the dress - that's a way to do stripes! But the elbow openings are weird and unnecessary!
I don't like her hairstyle at all. It must have taken a lot of spray to keep it so sleek and that makes it seem very artificial.

    1. That is true, Natalie, she is not afraid to take a risk. Letizia looks very cool here. And she can wear it. But I must say I prefer her elegant and ladylike side.

  6. Not a fan of dress. But she looks polished. I do not like the hair slicked back like that at all. Make up is nice. Felipe is nice 😉
    Overall ...meh

  7. I love the sleek hairstyle and the make up. The only negative I see is the goofy-looking elbow-less sleeves in the dress. Otherwise, very dramatic and chic look for an evening event. Hairstyle is a nice break from the more casual daytime look. Kudos to the Queen.

  8. Looks like "Celebrity" Queen Letizia is back. I liked her style so much better the past few weeks when she wasn't trying to look trendy.

  9. I'm not a big fan of Letizia, but I must say I like her whole look here, hair, dress, make up. Very nice.

  11. I do not like this outlook at all. My first thought was she has just been swimming and forget her badrobe on.

  13. Errrrr.... Brrrr... No. Who stole the elbows of her dress and what for? Nina Ricci or not, I don't like this. And the makeup, like a disco queen. I smell too much sweat here trying to look trendy.

    1. Agree. I like Letizia she seems like a great wife, mother, and Queen but I feel like she tries to hard sometimes to be trendy. Just look at her in the group photo, the other two women are facing forward hands in front, Letizia is the only one who's "posing" with her body slightly turned and arms to the side, that's a classic model red carpet pose.

    2. That's her trademark photo pose. I couldn't yet figure out why she does it but she does it almost all the time (when she's photographed in a group).

  14. I like nothing in this look, not the glittery striped dress, not the dramatique eye make up and not the strict helmet like hair. Strange look overall.

  16. It's got an '80s feel to it, this look ! Big hair, bold make up, and glitzy dress !
