  1. LOVE this neckline! The dress is very flattering and her accessories (earrings, bracelet and wristwatch) are gorgeous too.

  2. I agree. The neckline is very chic! While this color might look blah on some people, Sophie looks just beautiful in a dignified, understated way. Her bracelet is very pretty and love the updo of her hair in back.

  4. I don't understand the praises of this outfit, with the dress and the old-fashioned hairstyle she looks like a housewife in the fifties, only shoes would have been white, less high and more pointed.

    2. I understand what you say but I still like it. Then again, I love the fifties' fashion. To be honest the neckline is rather sixties than fifties. As for her hair, it's a decent updo, her hair is out of her face, overall, it's "organized". She has a few styles she looks good with and sticks to those. After all, Sophie is not a classic beauty, she is pleasant to look at but not strikingly gorgeous so I guess we'll never see her experimenting with on the trend looks like straightened, middle parted, "flat" hair :)
You see, there can be vast differences between what one sees as attractive and what the other. The world is that diverse, thank God :)

    3. I also like a Retro look. But then shoes and accessoires should match the look. The watch with the square clock face is perfect though.
But then again, there is a difference in playing with retro style elements and simply looking somewhat outdated.

In general I think Sophie would benefit from a new hairstyle and could still keep to her personality. Same for Mathilde, and even more so for Princess Anne, from who we rarely see photos on this side. An uninspired old-fashioned hairstyle destroys any good look.

  5. She looks OK, but she didn't really convinced me this time. She can do a way much better - she proofed that many times before. She can be more daring, free and youthful.
