    1. Give her some slack, she's less frumpy than usual, but the shoes look like something that my daughter got at Walmart for $30 a couple of years ago...........

    2. Oh c'mon Maria, give the girl some credit! She is trying hard and she is doing so much better, she s getting better. 😜

  6. I guess she'd have to wear a stiffer bra. Or size up the dress. But this is a lovely look, Her hair, makeup and jewelry are wonderful.

  7. Omg did MM really forget to wear a bra? How? Again don't like the dress but it's still a big improvement from her usual style.

  8. Also MM really shouldn't wear heels like that, honestly I'm not saying this to be mean or rude in any kind of way. Her body is too heavy to support such a thin stiletto heel, you can see in the photo how she's putting too much weight on her heels.

    1. Someone who has serious back problems has no business wearing those shoes, whatever their size.

    2. Agree, I completely forgot about MM's back problems.

  9. What are you guys talking about?? She is obviously wearing a bra??? Don't you have boobs? They look totaly different without a bra... you cannot see the nipples. But she need more support as lizzie said. Shoes are ugly. But everything else is nice. Much better MM!

  10. Let me say it this way: okay, it is a much better look than we have seen lately on her, but is this enough to praise it to the skies? No! We are talking about fashion here, and from fashion point of view, with the budget she has, she could have done much better. This is not against the person! She may be a lovely person, I like her smile on the first photo with Haakon. But when you are on a official mission, what you wear is part of what you express. Fashion is not only about, oh, I like this and I don't like that, fashion like art has some rules, colour, cut, material, length, proportion and so on....and the outcome of a look is usually much better, when you think about these rules.
Nobody here speaks against a fuller, womanly figure, which can look great. There is no bodyshaming here. But you should know a little bit about proportions when you dress. Same for a very skinny woman, she also has to think what suits her best.
The outfits she wears on this journey are not totally bad, but they are not right for her figure and proportions. A Stylist would know this, if she had one :-((
The needelthin heels are horrible, apart from the ugly shoe itself. Her hair is a mess, look at the picture from behind, my very normal and affordable hairstylist would not let her go her to an official event like this, this would be against her professional standards. And yes, sorry to say this, but a decent underwear is part of the look.

Her dress, hair and shoes are awful ... she needs a stylist urgently !!!! There is nothing i can say ..... Oh poor Mette Marit ......

      I have no words

    3. You can see exactly her left shape of breast and the nipple ( very first photo ) and you would not if she was wearing bra.

  13. The media is saying that she is a real shopper of expensive clothes, but that must be wrong, becouse she do not now that along with a dress you need a bra.
So no fashion girl whit style in that Lady.

  14. I agree with those saying that the shoes, and especially the heels are way too delicate for her frame. And the dress, while lovely in itself, is too small and too short on her.

  15. I can't believe how cruel some people can be! This dress is gorgeous, and ESPECIALLY from the neck up, CP Mette-Marit looks stunning. Her hair, make-up, and jewelry and lovely, and the color is very flattering on her.
