  1. I wonder if Maxima and Mathilde just ever call one another and say "How about lunch and shopping"? I mean they are neighbors really LOL just a little bit of a drive. I travel 6 hours to meet a friend now and then or she comes here. Though I admit I take the train sometimes.

    1. I think that when you're in the position that they're in, it's a little bit complicated to do just that!

    2. I think it is not so far fetched. Their position makes it easy to just drop it all and have a girls day or meet up and bring the mall or boutique to your own house. They can be in their comfy clothes with no one saying they should not wear that color or need a haircut.

I did not mean that they would meet at the mega mall and eat at the food court lizzie.

    4. I haven't lived in Europe for 60 years. Do they have mega malls and food courts in, let's say, Holland and Belgium? Seriously, I doubt that would ever happen, because it would not be a spontaneous thing such as you said, Diane, let's do lunch and shopping. Travel arrangements would have to be made, protection officers involved, etc.

    10. I think they do meet with others, at least the next of crown couples in Europe have every year unofficial meetings, I have seen some photos of them. And I believe these ladies call each others and are mostly also friends. After all they do not have many co workers in same situation.

You should see my shoe and handbag collections, I am really a little embarrased to have so many pairs of shoes and bags.

    11. Blondiini you should see MY collections. I have a dressing room (we do live in a flat, not in a mansion, but yes I have a dressing room) and a year ago my husband managed to make an appointment with me: for every new bag or pair of shoes, I must sort another one out. What my sweetheart was not aware of is that we have a cellar. Advantage for me: with all that running downstairs and running upstairs I do not need any personal trainer...

  6. Maxima looks so much better when she does not overdo, much better to keep it simple and elegant. Her hair looks very nice here.
