  1. Her hairdo and her choice of clothes makes her look not only much older but ancient.
She should stop wearing red color , it is too strong color for her .

    1. She is 72 but not old or ancient. I do think she looks absolutely stunning when she wears blues. Red is a tad harsh when we get older. I think the red from head to toe is partly to blame. If she broke that color up a bit it might work better.

I do love her ! She is a beautiful woman. I think she has a heart and soul that is very special. She has carried herself with more class and grace than her husband (the blueblood) ever has!

  2. @ Diane, learn to read!
I did not say she is old or ancient , I said it" MAKES HER LOOK "
    It is big difference!

    1. @kristina wagner you learn to read dear and stop being such a witch of late.

I did NOT SAY YOU SAID THAT AT ALL. I AGREED WITH YOU. I said she is 72 not old or ancient. I did not say "dont say that kristina. She is not old or ancient". I did not say you at all. Stop being so defensive.

Amd stop being mean. I can read just fine. I think you need to learn some manners. As we say on my world Bless Your Heart... and that is not what you think it is.

      Over your constant bitchy self.

  3. Princess Benedikte looks lovely ! I agree about the red, as well, the neckline isn't very flattering on Silvia, maybe if it was a little higher, and just a splash of red would have worked better. Otherwise 72 and looking fabulous! The King looking tanned from their recent trip to St Tropez !

  4. That dark hair doesn't help either. Whereas Princess Benedikte looks so elegant all the time.

    1. Benedikte may look elegant but she also looks arrogant.

  5. Terrible outfit! The colour, the neckline, the headpiece, the stola, the lipstick. Just no!! Even if I try, because I like her, I can't find anything positive to say. The strong colours may work on gala events. But apart from that she should stick to softer colours, a softer makeup and haircolouring.

  6. She used to be beautiful, now she looks like Meg Ryan. Same cosmetic surgeon?

  7. Being a redhead myself, I have always admired and longed for dark rich black or deep brown hair. I can only imagine it would be very, very hard to part with such a gorgeous hair colour, yet at the same time as much as I admire Queen Silvia I feel a slightly lighter shade or shades rather than what appears in photos to be one intense dark hair colour might be more flattering.

As for Queen Silvia's choice of colour when it comes to her ensemble, go for it I say. I just think of Queen Elizabeth, she is always brightly dressed in an array of beautiful and often bright colours which on occasion include red and she in my opinion dresses beautifully.

In fact I wish two of the Queen's grand-daughters (York) would take a leaf out of her book and some style advice too!

  10. One question to the admin. Why do you always write about what the Swedish Queen does, but very very seldom what the Danish and Norwegian do? As we know they have also been out and about recently...

    1. The same goes for Queen Sofia. She may be retired, but she's still out and about a lot. Unfortunately, on this blog she only appears when she's in her daughter-in-law's company.

    2. Yes have seen that too. She didn't even have a story of Q Sonjas 79 birthday on the 4 of July. If your gonna be a royal blog, be a royal blog and write about everyone. Or be a fashion blog and only write about the younger ladys outfit.
