Queen Mathilde visits the United Nations in New York

Queen Mathilde of Belgium currently is on a two-day visit to the United Nations in New York City. Yesterday, July 11, Queen attended a high level event on rehabilitation and reintegration of children affected by armed conflicts and an event for the Belgian campaign for a non-permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council 2019-2020.

  1. It takes a lot of time and planning to participate in events such as these. Her Majesty seems to be very engaged in these proceedings. She looks lovely and is appropriately attired for the occasion.

  4. I LOVE the yellow dress and it's perfect on Mathilde. Very pretty. And I don't know about the gray dress, maybe it's those magenta flowers sewn onto it (a bit childish-crafty), I don't really get those - the dress otherwise is very much to my palate, the neckline is especially good on Mathilde. Her hair is smashing though on these first pictures! It's BIG but it suits her, I think.

  5. HM always looks her best in nothing too flamboyant, the simpler styles really do suit her ! The yellow is very flattering on her. Interesting design in the grey dress, shame there isn't a better photo of it.
