  1. Paradise dress. I consider this a miss. The hat and floral arrangements are spot on. I guess it's a win!

Valentino or not ... I think Maxima`s dress is ugly and not flattering at all. To me it appears a bit ridiculous, don`t like ist at all. It doesn`t do anything for Maxima!

  3. It's hard to imagine any of the other royal ladies pulling off that look ! Maxima's style reflects her personality! The big prints, big hat, big earings, big smile ! No one does it quite like Maxima !

  8. It is very Maxima, there is al lot going on, gloves, big hat, different styles and colors of jewelry, printed dress....I don't like it particularly but if one person can pull it of, it is Maxima. It makes me smile.

  9. Omg say it isn't so. They took a tourist t-shirt design and put Valentino on the label. Oh Maxima....no no no no. And it's not even something coordinated with the visitors. There are no palm trees in Greece 😐😞😔😕😲😱😨😩

    2. Perhaps she wants to tell us that she is longing for holidays. ;-)

But honestly, this is one of her vaudeville queen outfits which I don't like at all.

  10. There are palm trees in Greece, especially Crete and with a very long history.
But: this dress is incredible. And the price probably too. And it makes no sense together with the hat. Maybe Maxima has been in a very good mood this morning. Problems in Greece? Well, just let's have a funny meeting then. Wow!!!

  11. What a faux pas!
You do not sit at the table with other quests eating lunch or dinner with such a big hat on, especially it was in Queens Palace in The Hague. She should have remove it. It is consider as a very bad manners.

    1. She normaly doesn't think about others when she wears such a big hat. She did it before at a lunch, wearing such a big hat and at a lot of other occasions where she had to mingle and sit with other people and took their view away.

  14. Here's a thought?

We all agree that her hair is in bad shape. We have speculated it's due to over processing etc. But maybe she has some illness like thyroid disease or other hormonal issues? Sometimes I think she has some weave etc. Other times it looks very very thin almost no hair in spots. I wonder if the hats are sometimes used for covering that all up especially when it's bad. Maxima seems to have manners and know about protocol. Why on earth why she leave her hat on at a sit down luncheon? Seems odd to me. I wonder if it's cover up?

    Anybody?

    1. If Maxima has some kind of problem as you think, her hair would look "in bad shape" all the time and they are not.

    2. Frankly it looks bad all the time for some time now. It only looks good hidden in a hat or win she wears it up. Otherwise it's a disaster down. We say this every single time ...... not a bash. I adore Maxima but her hair is a hot mess for a very long time now. Just scroll back over the last 6 months and tell me I am wrong. We have all noticed it all the time.

    3. Well, in that case she could wear those turbants she likes so much, i just think she likes big hats.

    4. Could be the reason to the earlier China-visit, when she had to go home for health reason (kidneys!?) Since that time I noticed it too...

  16. She looks gorgeous, I was so busy gazing at the dress I later realized no necklace, just a beautiful hat, face, hair, earrings, always beautiful and stylish. I love this summery dress.
