  3. She does look better with her hair loose but it's her choice.

  4. Because she likes it, and, I am sure she does not have a hairdresser at her beck and call like some others we all know.

    1. I agree. She gives a good example, with her work ethic and not wasting money on unnecessary things.
Many young royals should learn from her, especially British.

    2. Whats necessary? Valentino handbag for 1800 euro or Elie Saab dress for 10 000 euro ;) Before we go completely over board in praise here, Victoria shops just as much as the rest of the ladys.

    3. She recycles more. They all have to spend money for clothes, but we see here she doesn't have a hairstylist. You don't wear Elie Saab everyday...

    4. At least she works so her parents don't have to. Poor Elizabeth does everything insted of her kids and grandchilden.

    5. You can't compare UK and Sweden. UK are a bigger country with much more royal events. Charles have more events/jobs then the Swedish King. All the royals work. If you want to know how much check the royal calendar. QE have sent her kids on tours abroad for many years. When was the last time she went in a wedding? She goes only on a few state visit herself the rest do the kids or William. Like Anne who was recently on the Falklands. Example next month the royals have to this date 62 engagement, the Queen have none, but the rest of the family have mostly Anne and the Duke of Gloucester.

    6. Heirs to the throne should do most. What is excuse for William and Kate?
Since you mentioned wedding, I have noticed British royals don't attend other royal weddings which is not nice at all. For example, at Madeleine's wedding, every country had a CP or king/queen to represent them. And who came from Britain? Sophie.
Every royal child has godparents from other royal families, except British.
      Don't tell me it's good.

    7. Why complaine about Sophie? Madeleine is just a princess, not the heirs. So lower ranked royals comes, and usually it's charles or Edward how travel to the wedding. Edward and Sophie has a good relationship with the nordic houses, so of course they are the one who represent the UK. And if you are gonna complaine about William and Kate, do so about Madeleine too. William and Kate work every month, and are going to Buthan and India this spring, they have been since they got married in US, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Tuvalu, Solomon Islands, New Zealand and Australia. England have a little bit different tradision on godparents, William is second in line and have royal godparents King Constantine of Greece, Princess Alexandra, the Duchess of Westminster, Lady Susan Hussey, Lord Romsey and Sir Laurens van der Post, but they broke with tradition so George third in line only has Zara. No biggie.. You can't compare the work Victoria does against William, after alle she is the heir, William are only second in line, when he get's his fathers position you will see even more of him and Kate. After all Charles work much more then any of the swedes does, and he takes over more and more of the Queens dutys every year. William had in 2014 216 engagements and worked as a pilot. Last year he focused on his work as a pilot and only had 122, Victoria had 145...

    8. I see you are a big fan of BRF so you can't see my point...
Madeleine's wedding was just an example. British royals are so distant from others and still most popular in magazines.

    9. Sorry Lassie as a Scandinavian I do not have a favorite. But I can be neutral and see things from several point of view. I do not put my own country's royals on a pedestal, but treat them just the same as all the other royal houses.

    10. Forgot to say you are so wrong in Madeleines wedding Sophie and Edward both attended as they did in Carl Philips and the other Scandinavian weddings.

    11. You refuse to see my point. Elizabeth never attends important european royal events. Every objective person would consider that unappropriate. I am not talking about Sophie. Example: coronation of Maxima and W. Alexander. All important royals were there.
I don't want to fight anymore because we obviously talk about different things.

    12. You have to stop seeing thing from a Swedish perspective, but from the country you talk about. It's not and never have been a tradition that the English monarch goes in a wedding and so on. Why complaine CG and Silvia was not in the inauguration either only Victoria as was Charles and Camilla. QE seldom goes abroad and we are talking about a then 87 year old woman!

    13. And now we have come to another topic. But as I said, this doesn't make sense anymore.

    14. What do you expect? That we don't answer your wrong comments? I have only answerd you and your badly checked facts. Check the facts who, where and what tradition everyone have before you comment. Then we don't need debates like this ;)

    15. Usually sitting monarchs do not attend inaugurations, it is usually the next in line - sort of like a bachelor party where the bachelors attend to bid farewell to a member of their club moving up to the next level.

    16. I didn't write wrong facts and I know everything I said is tradition, my point was: Brits should be closer with others. And I asked myself: Why do they STAND OUT? Why is the media so obssesed with them?
But please don't tell me the answer, I will check my history book.
Sometimes you have to reed between the lines.

  8. Her outfit looks lovely and I think that this bun looks okay with this outfit.

Could not help but notice that her eyes look kind of lifeless and tired (like she's ready to fall asleep or start to cry).

  9. I was quite shocked to see her back to work.

  10. She does look tired and sad. I read Daniel is pretty sick, maybe that's why she looks upset.

    1. She was not upset, she looks tired as all new moms are. So tired that she almost fell a sleep during the speach. Daniel is not sick either unless he has a little cold LOL

  11. I am curious why they have her work so soon after a delivery. She looks younger but tired. She's a pro at what she does. I'd be tired and sad if I had to leave baby of 3 weeks

  12. Am I the only one who thinks that she should have same rights to mother leave than all the other people. Although I know very well how important she keeps UN work and that the work was not whole day.
