  1. Finally she is wearing a necklace and wondering if the pearls are real or costume jewelry

    1. Well the earrings are clip-ons and the pearls are just a little too perfectly round and white which are usually dead giveaways of costume; but even so I think she's wearing it well and I'm just glad to see her wearing any jewelry at all. LOL.

    2. The pearls are real, they used to belong to Queen Consort Maria Mercedes first wife of King Alfonso XII of Spain.

    2. Non, elle se croit toujours la plus belle du monde. Pas besoin d'un miroir.

    1. I really do agree ! She looks just like that beautiful Queen of Spain as she is !
And to those who just bubble a lot of gossip about her, stop that ! You nor I do know her that very good, as her husband, her nearest friends and maybe her family do !

  10. Beautifully groomed, makeup and hair, gorgeous jewellery, but what is with the dress? What a shocker!

Everyone has figure faults, no one is perfect, but why does she continually flaunt her arms? The dress is bad, but if Letizia wore clothing that covered her arms she would look so much nicer, ever in that dress.
r and I dearly which she would cover her arm. She is seems proud of them, but they are not a pretty sight.

  13. Queen Sofia is a beautiful lady. The older the better. I do not like Letizia's dress. When sge waves her muscles are so visible. It is not appropriate for a lady. But I like the colour of the dress.

  14. Love those pics.
We see the difference between a REAL queen and a IT girl made queen .
(Pic no. 5 showing that bony arm and shoulder is .... no comment ) .

  15. Heavy makeup and that dress is more for a curvy silouhette ... It looks like it's hanging on her

    Well-performed operations.
Google Letizia Ortiz and compare the pics pre wedding and today.

    1. Personally I prefer her old look, more natural!

    2. She even did cosmetic ear surgery (Otoplasty) in June 2008 same year she did her nose job.

      Delete
    3. Now I've googled and looked and looked. She has probably had a nose job done, but otherwise I don't see much of a major difference. She has definitely had some weight loss which has resulted in more bony and sharp features. But she was beautiful with a VERY nice figure before and she's still beautiful even though according to my taste she's way too skinny.

    4. Mee too, she was pretty genuine, not like now : the same facial expression in any occasion, those gaping eyes, too skinny .
I think that this woman misunderstood the meaning of monarchy (which is not a catwalk) and her role that is to be always a step back to the King . Poor Felipe, I think he is not able to control the situation .
Nevertheless, the article says that her promotion as anchor in the evening news came short before the engagement . So I have a doubt : she REALLY deserve it ? She was REALLY a skilled journalist or the promotion came to give her more .... prestige before marrying the crown prince ? I cannot say, maybe the spanish readers might help me in understanding .

    5. If she presented a haggard weathered complexion with stained teeth and a lumpy silhouette under designer suits she would probably be criticized for embarrassing Spain.......much like the 10 euro earrings while in the USA. The woman cannot win. She's beautiful ..deal with it.

    6. Maybe you should read the two books about her and then tell us how to deal with it...

  19. Pretty queen and beautiful dress, always stylish, very classy, very chic.

  20. If someone wrote a book knowing that their work will not be challenged in a court of law...then everything mentioned must be true. The fellow who has access to the best intelligence in the country and could therefore dig up her 'past' proposed after only 4 months of dating. He had no problems with her but you do?

  21. Anonimous 18;41 - Mmmmmm .... and what would you say about all the other princesses/queens that don't make any cosmetic surgery, or botox or hyaluronic acid etc etc ... ? I mean, there is a way and possibility to be a natural beauty and not being criticized? I think : yes . Look QMathilde, QMaxima, CPMary , much more natural and IMO more beautiful . I think they know the importance to be a sort of an icon , to which people and expecially women look at . Skinny, too skinny body and evident cosmetic surgery are not a good example expecially for the young generations . My two cents.

Bravo!

  23. She looks great! She is indeed the only queen that can pull off this dress.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Not much to understand here...simply married because of money and becoming a future queen. NO ONE in the family likes or appreciates her, except the queen. Doesn't this tell a lot about her personality???

Yes, the pearls ARE FAKE! WHY she doesn't wear jewellery....her neck is too skinny to support any necklaces, let alone her wrists braclets will fall off!

When it comes to style, elegance....don't know WHAT style elegance can we talk about here, 97% of time she is dresses as an ordinary person!

LOOK AT Maxima or Mathilde and then talk about style, elegance, class etc.!!!!
