Queen Mathilde and Princess Eleonore in Blankenberge

On July 12, 2015, Queen Mathilde of Belgium and her youngest daughter Princess Eleonore attended the annual 'Sea Blessing' an catholic mass held on the beach of Blankenberge in remembrance of those who died at sea. (The blessing remembers the deceased fishermen and seafarers and protection is sought for anyone who enters the sea.)

What a good mama to teach her children their royal duties, so carefully and kindly. You can see the people in the crowd appreciate this. She did this with the crown princess, too. Both girls look like they need quite a bit of coaxing to be comfortable at it.
