    I like the colour of her dress and the lace.
    I do not like the lengths (knee and arms) of the dress. Together with the empire waist it looks like it is too small for her.

    I don't think it's an empire waist. Mathilde just has very long legs and thus a shorter trunk, therefore a higher natural waist. Conversely Kate Middleton is often critique for her short hemlines but the matter of the fact is that she has a longer torso and short legs. Therefore the hems are often "above the knee" even though they would be knee length on a more evenly proportioned person. Just an observation.
