Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands celebrates her birthday on January 31. And the royal palace has released a stunning official portrait, which shows Beatrix at her absolute best, donning her regal finery. Not only will the monarch be marking the milestone age of 75, she will be enjoying her last birthday as queen.
Today, Queen’s 75th birthday. The official celebration will be 30 April, the date of her mother’s birthday, so declared in deference to Juliana by Beatrix when she was crowned Queen of the Netherlands.
